请教一个句子的结构，不是太确定，与专业知识关系不大

下面这个句子，and storing predetermined information along the track和谁是并列的呢？从Ving形式上看应该是和前边的forming a visible image，但是其后的and an image drawing layer又是与前边的a data recording layer相并列的，这样就觉得storing predetermined information along the track似乎应该是修饰track的。可这样语法结构不同

不对吧？无论从意思还是语法形式上我觉得2都不是和1、3 并列的。

storing predetermined information along the track 和 formed with a track 是并列的，共同修饰 a data recording layer
