全句是：尽管已经详细描述和说明了本发明，但是显然应该理解，本发明仅是作为说明和举例并且不是作为限制，通过权利要求的条款来说明本发明的范围。
其中，the same 表示“ present invention ”，by way of 可以译为“作为，为了”等。
