美国专利申请撰写中“包含”的不同表达方式的区别

请问在撰写美国专利申请的时候，comprise，consist和include有什么区别？应该注意些什么？

comprising、including等是开放式连接词，表示元件、成分或步骤的组合中不排除权利要求中未记载的元件、成分或步骤等；

consisting of 等是封闭式连接词，表示元件、成分或步骤之组合中仅包含权利要求中所记载之元件、成分或步骤等。个人觉得有“别无其它限定”的意思。

和我们国家审查指南中的规定其实也是一致的。

I agree that \"comprising\" and \"including\" are \"open ended\" transitional words, although the latter was given a more limiting interpretation in some case.  See details at Stephen A. Becker, \"atent Applications Handbook,\" page 61, 2000 edition.  
But I never heard that “containing” can be used as an equivalent to \"comprising\" or \"including.\"
