yet相当于and、but之类的连词，在此可能表转折的意思吧，如果写成这样：The metal traces 70, 72, 74 and 76 are respectively in direct contact with die pads 42, 44, 46 and 48 ，and/but/yet（然而保持）  remains electrically short-circuited together by the seed layer 56 between the metal traces 70, 72, 74 and 76.
