「Patent Pending」照字面上解释代表「专利申请中」，美国专利法规定必须要提出专利申请后，相关产品才能标示「Patent Pending」。所以当我们看到产品上标示「Patent Pending」就可以认定该厂商已经提出专利申请，但是这状况并不是百分之百正确，因为有些厂商可能会进行不当标示。patent-pending 也被翻译为 专利未决 。
